| Introduction |
We
recognize that human health industry consists of the following 3
pillars:
1.Medical, pharmaceutical science ― to fight diseases
2.Preventative science ― to prevent diseases
3.YoJo-gaku (health-care science) ― to improve entelechy
Among those 3 pillars, medical and pharmaceutical science has achieved great
progress and advancement, and it provides people with more secured lives. However,
as technology develops and human civilization advances, the necessity for preventative
science and YoJo-gaku has been surfaced more than ever. Unfortunately, spread
and expansion of preventative science and YoJo-gaku is in adequate in the existing
circumstances. Now is the time, by all means, for us to enhance understanding
and knowledge of those sciences.
Oriental medicine and Occidental medicine has been independently developed upon
two different philosophies from east and west respectively.
At Institute of Health Care with Oriental Herb and Medicine, understanding different
ideologies derived from distinct cultures, we are seeking points where Oriental
medicine meld with Occidental medicine for progress of society. As one of those
points, we actively pursue an “achievement of health efficiency” and “know-why.”
By exhibiting results of clinical studies at numbers of academic conferences,
we are making great efforts to promote people’s recognition and understanding
of YoJo-gaku.
To play an important role of human health industry by leading diffusion and development
of YoJo-gaku, and to contribute global advancement are our target at Institute
